These songs were on a split 7" with our buddies The Bar Feeders. They were one of the older bands in the scene who kinda took us under their wings, so to speak. They also helped out under-age asses procure copious amounts of alcohol, but don't tell their kids that now. Anyway there's a funny story behind this record and this seems like a good enough place to tell it, so here goes: one night the bar-feeders had scored a keg or two from a local brewery and had an impromtu party at their rehearsal space. Jason showed up and proceeded to get shit-hammered and pass out. being the kind souls they are the members of the bar-feeders lifted Jason onto the loft bed they had built into their studio and left him there to sleep it off. the next morning they came and picked up a very hungover Jason who was too embarrassed to admit that he had wet the bed. but their bassist trey was soon to discover this as he laid upon the loft to nap after a hard days work. in his frustration Trey penned the track "Pissy Bear" so named because Cecil referred to jason as "huggy bear" until this incident, and then put the song on their side of the split just to fuck with us. so there ya go.

as for the record itself, it's long out of print, but you might be able to find a copy in a bargain bin somewhere.
